Anglesey Abbey

Anglesey Abbey

Busy, busy, busy. Real life has certainly been getting in the way recently. Not much baking and no walking for a month. I had been planning a walk yesterday, but, events conspired to scupper both the planned and back-up ideas.

In the end it was a very pleasant hour and a half's bimble around the grounds of Anglesey Abbey. This National Trust property is fairly local to me and always good for a stroll, especially in spring or summer when the flowers in the formal gardens are out. Highly recommended if anyone is ever in the area.

Aside from the Gardens you can also go around the house itself or Lode Mill.

Details and opening times can be found on the National Trust website here.

    1. Thanks Caroline.

The silver birches were taken lying flat on my back in the middle of the path! The things I do...
